Description stevel 2002-06-11 17:13:05 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: noatun
Version: 2.0.0 (using KDE 3.0.0 -10)
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.2.93
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-110)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-3
OS/Compiler notes:

When Noatun runs the progress bar moves and it correctly identifies the song but I hear no sound. Iam running KDE3.0 redhat 7.3. My cd player works just fine as well as other sound devices on this system just Noatun will not work.

I cannot reproduce on boxes running Redhat 8.0. New Redhat packages can be
found at ftp://ftp.redhat.com KDE 3.0.5 packages can be found in the Rawhide
directory and can also be verified to work. KDE from Redhat as of 8.0 does
not play .mp3 files.

> KDE from Redhat as of 8.0 does not play .mp3 files
caused by RedHat and not KDE, just to make that clear.
