SUMMARY Yesterday I did the normal software update in KDE neon. Reboot the system, then it starts to load and I see the spinning circle but the circle freezes and then nothing else happens. I try to run kwin_x11 on virtual terminal, outputs this message: kwin_x11: symbol lookup error: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libkwin.so.5: undefined symbol: _ZN14KWaylandServer20TextInputV3Interface22surroundingTextChangedEv STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Update system 2. Reboot 3. Wait for start the shell and the windows manager 4. The spinning circle but the circle freezes and then nothing else happens. 5. Start any application with Krunner. OBSERVED RESULT The interface crashes after some minutes. Not effects, no borders appears on the windows. EXPECTED RESULT A normal session SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.9
It looks like neon ships broken kwaylandserver package.
Which edition of KDE neon are you using?

I've now built kwayland-server again and it has been published in testing as 5.21.5+p20.04+tstable+git20210514.2040-0 please check if this update works
