(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: konsole Version: KDE 2.2.2 Severity: wishlist Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified For long running commands like "configure; make" or scientific calculations done via the command line I would like to have a notification when the command has finished (using the notification system of kde e.g. passive popups). There should be a setting whether this notification is send out if there is no focus at konsole (or the shell) or min. time border the command has to run after which a notification at its end is used. Would be even great for commands sent to the background... And the exit status should be integrated in the notification as well maybe by using at least two different notifications succedded and aborted. I would be glad to see this... thank you anyway Friedrich (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
There is a monitor for silence since 3.1 and notification with exit status in 3.2.

Forget to say: Thank you (and/or whoever implemented it). Hopefully I will upgrade soon. Friedrich
