(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kbabel
Version: 0.9.5 (using KDE 2.2.2 -1)
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.2
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.7-10
OS/Compiler notes:

The "panes" in kbabel ie. Original String (msgid) Translated String (msgstr) Comment etc boxes should be moveable.

It would make kbabel much more user friendly if users are allowed to move panes and panels arround to configure kbabel to their needs. It would turn it into more of a programming IDE.

The msgid msgstr panels could be configured so that they are alongside each other or msgstr is above msgid.

Panels could be removed such as the context and database lookup panel. If they are removed they could be accesable as popup screens that are used when needed.

Yeah, IDEAL and 'Child Frame Windows' would be great!

Sorry, IDEAl and other modes are mainly for MDI interfaces. I've used
Dock windows for KDE 3.3
