SUMMARY login screen not showing after resume STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Suspend 2. Resume 3. GUI unlocker screen not there. Wallpaper shows. Mouse works. System obviously not crashed 4. CTL ALT F2 into tty2 5. $ loginctl unlock-sessions from tty2 6. CTL ALT F1 into X12 plasma 7. Unlocked and usable OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.14.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I have had this problem at least since October. It does not happen everytime. I have not noticed a pattern about when why and why not.
When you log in via tty2, do you notice that the kscreenlocker process is using 100% CPU?

generally. it's firing up the screenlocker without locking the screen
or rephrasing effectively the question - do you have any issues if you lock without suspending?

I don't have the greeter at that path and Baloo hasn't indexed it elsewhere...
