Description stever 2002-04-15 04:51:49 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konsole
Version: 1.1 for KDE 3.0 (using KDE 3.0.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: RedHat 7.2 + updates

In a non X console the program mc reacts to [Home] as go to top of list and [End] as go to bottom of list.

In Konsole [Home] and [End] place characters H or F characters in the command line of mc.

hi

checked it in a KDE 2.2.2 (on RedHat 7.2) and the MC did not show a
variation between the non X console and in Konsole. Both gave top and
bottom of list for [Home] and [End].

as ever

Steve

System: Redhat 7.2 KDE 3.0 RPMS
Select XTerm (XFree 3.x.x) as keyboard in konsole preferences. With XTerm
(XFree 4.x) I've the same error.

Try with current versions.
