Still reproducible? Any special style, e.g. old Keramik snapshot?
Is this still happening, possibly with newer version? :) I hope to help get bugs that have been left uncommented looked at. P.s. I am not a KDE developer, just someone trying to help, like you.
I am also seeing this bug, with KDE 3.1.1 release, Solaris 9 and GCC 2.95.3. In konqueror only form input text boxes are rendered, buttons and radio buttons are not displayed. This is true for any style or window decoration. There is a screen cap at http://clue.eng.iastate.edu/~jmesterh/konqysol9.jpg
More notes about this bug.. when starting up konqueror, and visiting a web site with forms, this is output to stdout: "bitBlt: Incompatible destination pixmap" Also, this bug only appears when in 24-bit color depth. 8-bit does not show this problem. I really hope someone is looking into this bug, but I notice it is still listed as uncomfirmed :(
this really needs to be debugged that has access to Qt on such a X server - and someone like that will notice the problem without this bug open. We can't do anything about it ;(
