Description greenrd 2002-03-12 23:40:26 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konsole
Version: 3.0rc2 (using KDE 2.9.2 CVS/CVSup/Snapshot)
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I like the new Monitor for Silence feature. However it would be useful in order to be notified when builds are finished to make the timeout for this configurable. 10 seconds is too short!

Look for "#define SILENCE_TIMEOUT 10000 // milliseconds" in
kdebase/konsole/konsole/session.cpp to change it for you.

Implemented in CVS for KDE 3.1.

Hint: Konsole in HEAD still runs with KDE 3.0.
