Package: kmail
Version: 1.1.47 (KDE 1.90 Beta >= 20000517)
Severity: wishlist

It would be really nice if you could mark an entire thread as read/unread delete it move it to another folder etc.
Comment 1 Don Sanders 2000-05-22 02:30:35 UTC
Well you could use shift selection fo mark all messages in the thread. (Or
ctrl-shift selection when using the keyboard).

And then use the normal set status/delete/move commands.

Folder are now also bold when subfolders contain new mail which should allow
you to find the folders with new mail more easy.
Displaying the total unread messages would only be confusing since top level
folder can contain mail on its own.

Operations on a closed thread are now performed on all messages in that thread. That
means one can easily delete/move/copy a thread by simply collapsing it and
performing the operation on the closed thread.
