Description f2c2001 2002-02-09 13:35:50 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kdesktop
Version: 3.0beta2 (using KDE 2.9.1 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Not Specified
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

Dear KDE developers
I suggest you've to make the KPanel be in right-to-left order for RTL languages (e.g. Arabic Hebrew Farsi Yiddish etc)
I suggest that because the menu items in the KMenu are placed in right-to-left direction while the whole panel isn't & that makes no sense.
(I'm not a C++ programmer but I think this can be done by making the KDE check what locale is the system using & place the panel according to the locale).

Thanx

This wishlist item should be closed, as Kicker currently (3.1.3) implements it

I am using KDE 3.2 and it's not fixed. I am using Mandrake 10 and when I change my locale, logout and login again, the panel doesn't mirror properly
