(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: konqueror Version: KDE 2.9.1 Severity: wishlist Installed from: Unspecified Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified I think it would be a nice addition to the web archive plugin of konqi if the user were able to save several pages at once with working links between them. Let's say you surfed several pages selected some of the URLs from the history (drag and drop to a separate window?) and then you'd say "Archive selected pages". That'd be a useful feature for example to archive multipage news articles. Best regards Christian Müller. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)

Maybe this could be done by importing kwebget into kde/making another wget frontend
It would also be great if the user could interactively exclude certain elements from download, for example banner ads.
It would be *great* if the web archiver plugin would use 'wget'. With wget you can grab an entire website if you like, and it supports re-writing of links so you can browse the entire site offline. Real nice. I created a Kommander dialog for personal use, which can download entire websites for offline browsing. It took me just 5 minutes to develop it...
ad.#4) from what I understood the wished behaviour is to pack several pages (related or not) to one archive, not to archive site with depth=X value. Companion reports: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=103032 http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=165407
