(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: korganizer
Version: 2.2.1 (using KDE 2.2.2 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.17
OS/Compiler notes:

On the month display I have fewer appointments on Saturday and Sunday.

I'd like to have the option to display
Sat/Sun in 1 box horizontally split at
the far right. This would free up more space to see the days that do have appointments on them.

Hi,
Thanks for the bug report.
In principle, it would be no problem to squish sat and sun into one cell in the month view. However, there are some cross-relations with other settings, which make it hard to decide which days should really be put together into one cell:

-) If the week-start day is set to sunday, sunday will be shown on the left side, so we can't put it together with sat into the same cell

-) For other calendar systems, which have a different day of prayer, which days should be put together? Always the day of prayer with the previous day? That's wrong in lots of cases. The day of prayer with the next day? Wrong, too.

Cheers,
Reinhold
