OS/Compiler notes: 

On the monthly display space is
tight.  Information needs to be
prioritized.  The most important thing to most users will be the time and 'what' (event name).  The bell and recurrance symbols are less important.  I don't know if it is necessary to have them at all on the month display but if so they should be 
after the text of the event so if something gets cut off  due to size it will be the
symbols not the text.

We will have to find a general solution to this problem (agenda items, month view items and list view items)...
