in occasion like when copy and paste a rtl language text like persian in kate, cursor not accurate and it seem always one character behind where it is. 
for example when i put cursor between ش and خ in word مشخص , and press delete, i expect to delete خ but in reality its delete letter ص.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. copy any persian or arabic language text and paste it in kate. 
2. put cursor on a word.
3. press delete or space button.

Actual Results:  
kate delete or put space one character ahead of where cursor is. 
for example when i put cursor between ش and خ in word مشخص , and press delete, its delete letter ص.

Expected Results:  
when i put cursor between ش and خ in word مشخص , and press delete, i expect to delete خ instead of ص.
