It would be nice to have an option to have the clock widget chime the hours (and optionally half-hours and quarter-hours).

(This report is a reincarnation of Bug 67180 for Kicker, which is currently unmaintained.)

Yes, would be nice, but not exactly important, either.
I see no reason to block such a feature, I just would not assign it a high priority.
