Description richetta 2001-12-17 00:20:27 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmid
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 2.2.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.10-4GB
OS/Compiler notes:

Classsical Midi site Motzart files
for K453 K466 K467 with strange bass balance using utopia
live 32M soundfont. Using Creative Live! soundcard. And no midi map. Fully operational on 1000s
of other files and plays them same
as in Win2K with Creative's player and same soundfont. A version of
kmid on KDE 2.1.1 played same files correctly using same soundfont.
Bug update to 2.1.x caused problem
which persists in KDE 2.2.1

The "strange bass balance" means
hardly any sound but what there is
is low quality bass.

The 32M gm Utopia live soundfont is
a pay data object that plays as good
as any soundfont on Win2K with the
Live! soundcard.

Is this bug still present in a recent KDE version, such as 3.5.8?
