Doh, DanielS script was broken it seems. Here is the report.

An Undo feature would be great, and make korganizer consistent with 
other applications.  Particularly if you have 'autosave' on and you don't 
catch your mistaken deletion of an item quickly enough, you lose it and 
associated note information forever.

This feature is implemented in the current developer version of korganizer. It still has 
some quirks (reported as bug #60760), but at least this feature is implemented.  
Thus the bug can be considered as fixed.
