Bhushan you commented before that you've seen Klipper run expanded in the sys tray, is that what's happening here?
Comment 2 Anthony Fieroni 2016-01-10 19:14:48 UTC
Klipper not present at all, it is some kind of artefact.
Comment 3 Anthony Fieroni 2016-01-10 19:28:04 UTC
David, i don't know what you think, but with every new kf it has stupid bugs like none ever test it on current stable brach. I'm pretty sure this will continue with every new kf release till this release schedule will be modified. Now kf is rolling more than any rolling distro on earth, more than Arch :) I don't know how kde dev was thinkin' when decide new month = new version, but i was pretty sure this will happend. You know better, but this schedule is fairly stupid, stability is gone away for nothing.

@David: I think yes, it sometimes happen that klipper expands itself in system tray and not dialog.
Comment 5 Anthony Fieroni 2016-01-27 07:27:44 UTC
This is not Klipper at all, it's device mounter when click it show status of mounted device in the panel.
Comment 6 Bhushan Shah 2016-01-27 07:30:13 UTC
??? In comment #1 you said its Clipboard now you say device mounter??
Comment 7 Anthony Fieroni 2016-01-27 07:37:50 UTC
It's *MUST* be Klipper, but it's device mounter. It's clear now?

This is not a duplicate of bug 352055. The symptoms are similar, but this specific issue with klipper was introduced in plasma-framework 5.18. The other issue has been around for much longer.
Comment 12 Anthony Fieroni 2016-02-08 08:49:32 UTC
In 5.19, released last saturday, the issue still present

No, they are duplicates.
The problem root seems to be a bug from QT.
Please, follow bug 352055 instead, if it gets more attention, it could be corrected quicker.
