Description naraesk 2016-01-07 15:38:29 UTC
Everytime kdialog is saved to open/save a file the error message "The process for the file protocol died unexpectedly" pops up.

Further, KDialog doesn't show any files. As you can see in the screenshot a folder is selected but even after closing the error message, no files are shown. However, I can type the name of the file in the name field and open it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the save as dialog of chromium or okular or any other application

I believe this is a probably duplicate of #354647.

Thanks for the report. I'm unable to reproduce this issue with current kdialog.

Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I've set the bug status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved" when you respond, thanks.
