Widely experienced by other users of packages.
Comment 2 monsieurantoine 2015-10-22 13:59:16 UTC
Made a mistake : no new dialog, it just won't connect, account will not show in account list.
Comment 3 Martin Klapetek 2015-10-22 15:26:32 UTC
Thanks for the report, although I'm quite confused.

So you add new Google account and it will not show in your list of accounts (and the description is all wrong), is that correct?

Do you have telepathy-accounts-signon package installed?

KTP failed to connect - plasma log

For last few weeks I can't make google hangout account to work. It is visible in network -accounts kcm and it's checked. Attempt to connect fails with authentication error, despite kwallet5 has correct password and binary authentication token.

I've attached log of plasma error messages, redirected to the console. It might provide some related information.

My current kf5/ktp stack (related packages):

Yes, got this "telepathy-accounts-signon-1.0"

Couldn't manage to edit. The auth loop is with ktp-auth-handler with my kdetalk account...

Same issue here with Fedora 23, I can't connect to my google account.
I have telepathy-accounts-signon and ktp-auth-handler installed.

Martin, does comment #5 provide the requested information? Please set the bug status.
Comment 8 Martin Klapetek 2015-12-03 00:00:36 UTC
There are several different reports in this bug, but I'm guessing all are the same symptom of bug 354949.
