Description JohnB 2015-10-07 09:39:58 UTC
When typing calculations from the keyboard, mathematical operators that require use of the SHIFT on the main keyboard do not work

For example multiplication and addition ---> *=SHIFT+8, +=SHIFT+= do not work.
Similarly, the operators ), (, ^, are not possible with keyboard input.

(Dell E6540, Fedora 22, Plasma 5.4.1, KDE 5.14.0, Qt 5.5.0)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open kcalc
2. e.g. type 7*5=
3.

Actual Results:
Answer: 75 (since * is not recognised through SHIFT+8)

Expected Results:
Answer should be: 35

Using mouse to click buttons works.
Using the numerical keypad works (but *, /, +, - do not require SHIFT key on keypad and other operators are still not possible from the keyboard such as (, ), ^
