(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: 2.2.1 (using KDE 2.2.1 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Debian Package 4:2.2.1-14 (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011006 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i586) release 2.4.14
OS/Compiler notes:

I would like it if the <textarea> </textarea>
item could be replaced with an embedded application to use for editing instead of the normal textarea. It would be very nice to be able to ebmed kate in konqueror on all textareas so as to allow much more powerful editing features. Mainly I feel this would be very useful when working with ZOPE.

If this can't be done is there any way I can get a similiar behavior from konqueror? I am not worried about security since that is already taken care of.
