(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kmail Version: 1.3.1 (using KDE 2.2.1 ) Severity: wishlist Installed from: Mandrake Linux 8.1 (Raklet) Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Mandrake Linux 8.1 2.96-0.62mdk) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.3-20mdk OS/Compiler notes: Currently to flag mails in kmail I have to right-click then go into a submenu. I think it would be nicer if there was a column in the message list view which showed the flag so that you could click on it to flag/unflag a message. And also sort by flagged/unflagged. For extra bonus slickness it would be cool to have different types of flags available if you right-clicked on the column. But that is just being greedy! d (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog)
Hello, It would be VERY nice to have an option to include in the user interface columns to each possible flag (allowing for sorting by these flags). So, one could see a message flagged read, important and answered. Not only one flag. Also, one could sort all unread msg first/last, or all important msg first/last. StarOffice 5.2 has this feature of allowing multiple flag columns. best regards. Andre Felipe
You are requesting a lot: 1) column for flags so you can sort them (vote for #58002) and quickly add flags (which by the way can also be done by assigning shortcuts) 2) add more flags (which is requested at #50409 and #31650, please vote for these if you like them). since you request a lot it will be difficult to close this report, since it will never happen all at once. I'll transfer you to 58002. Please vote for the other ones as well if you want to track those. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 58002 ***
