Description Roman Maurer 2001-11-01 16:33:04 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 2.2.0 -11)
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.2
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.7-10
OS/Compiler notes:

Left book menu (with tab named Books) does
not display words with Unicode characters
š and ž correctly. The name
of the book gets truncated on the first
occurence of such character.

Example: Slovenian (sl) translation of
"Library" is "Knjižnica" but only
"Knji" is displayed. The same is true
for translation of "Welcome to KDevelop!"
where it should stand "Dobrodošli
v KDevelop!" but instead it says just
"Dobrodo".

This was tested with Slovenian (sl) and
Slovak (sk) translations that use Latin-2
subset of Unicode.

Should work in Gideon (3.0)
