(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmail
Version: 1.3.1 (using KDE 2.2.1 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Mandrake Linux Vitamin
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Mandrake Linux 8.1 2.96-0.62mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.7-12.3mdk
OS/Compiler notes:

I'd like to see an additional (optional) column in the message list: domain. So for a message from ("Sean Pecor <sean@digitalspinner.com>") I would see (digitalspinner.com). This solves the problem: When I'm looking for a contact from a specific organization in an email list it's hard to find them right now. For example the From shows "Sean Pecor" whom I may not know but I know Digital Spinner so the digitalspinner.com would help me zero in on the right email. This is especially helpful in a sales environment when you're at first familiar with organization names and not yet familiar with any individual sales contacts.

An alternative method would be to be able to optionally change the way the from field is presented. So I could change the from field to show something like "Sean Pecor @ digitalspinner.com".
