(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kcontrol
Version: v2.0 (using KDE 2.2.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.9
OS/Compiler notes:

I have the 'hide cursor' after inactive option
turned on.
I'm not sure which part of kde is responsible
for this so 'kdmwindow manager' might be the
wrong bucket. But anyway when I am say
viewing text in vi in a konsole window
I'll often keep my pinky on the control-key
while I use "f" and "b" to go forward or backward
pages.

Somehow my holding down the CTRL key
interacts weirdly with the 'hide cursor' option and
causes the cursor to blink in and out and move
around in a small space -- sometimes selelecting
text as it moves around -- it's like holding down
the CTL key is causing random mouse events
to be sent.

Weird.

Cannot reproduce this (with KDE 3.1rc4).
