Description Stefan Huber 2014-07-01 18:17:46 UTC
When akonadi server is restarted, in the kalarm main dialog all alarms disappear. When terminating kalarm and re-launching it, it shows the alarms again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an alarm in kalarm
2. Restart akonadi, e.g. via akonadi configuration; the entries in kalarm disappeared.
3. kill kalarm, and start kalarm again; the entries are shown again.

Expected Results:
When akonadi is up again, kalarm should show the alarms.

Internal data needs to be reset in KAlarm when the Akonadi server restarts. This has now been largely implemented (git commit 4ced21c70abebb4406abe6ae6e8feab6c997c0fe), although the alarms still do not appear except if the population model is changed from lazy to immediate. I hope to have this fixed soon.

A fix has been applied to kdepimlibs which finally fixes this issue - see https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/119746/. Git commit e26c4ea6edb9f4775889162e0d7fbf766b483d39. This will be in KDE 4.14.0.
