Description Ian Balchin 2014-06-28 09:04:44 UTC
In Report Design mode it is necessary to enter the Label Caption text into the Property Editor as this cannot be entered directly into the Label itself.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. In Report Design mode place a Label onto the background and resize appropriately
2. Click on the Label several time to try and open for text entry
3. Entering text into the Caption field of the Property Editor
Actual Results:
Step 2 above does not work and the user is forced to move to Step 3.

Expected Results:
That Step 2 would open the Label area for text entry at that point

The method of text entry into a Label in Report Design mode needs to be identical to the method provided for text entry into a Label in Form Design mode.

The end of text (when it is more than one small word) is obscured by the 'Clear Text' button in the Caption field of the Property Editor even when you move the cursor fully to the right. ie. the button intrudes into the already minimal text editing area.
