Description Albert Vaca Cintora 2014-06-25 20:38:17 UTC
KDE Connect displays a notification each time it receives a pairing request. We should add a way to "mute" or ignore certain devices (or IPs) to prevent this from being a source of spam.

Reported by Raphael Kubo da Costa <rakuco@freebsd.org> to the mailing list.

Reproducible: Always

I think it is not a bug. Whishlist is more appropriated to that.

A possibly relevant merge request was started @ https://invent.kde.org/network/kdeconnect-kde/-/merge_requests/324

We discussed this in a developer meeting at one point and decided it would be best to have a "smart" system where if a device sends too many pairing requests in a short period (spam) the local device automatically starts ignoring that device.
