Description Dominik George 2014-05-31 18:45:30 UTC
Setting the status to Offline and then locking the screen or waiting for the
auto-away timeout sets the status to away.

This means when I leave my workstation, setting IM to offline in the
hope that the resource will, in fact, be offline, is jeopardised by
Telepathy going back onlien in order to fulfill its auto-away
configuration.

Auto-away thus should not be triggered when the manually selected status
is anything else than Available!

Reproducible: Always

Tracked in Debian: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=748712

I've seen this happening some time ago as well but no matter what I try I cannot reproduce this anymore on the very same machine.

Can you confirm that it happens every single time you set yourself as offline and locking your screen /always/ connects you?
