(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kicker Version: KDE 2.2.0 Severity: wishlist Installed from: Debian Packages Compiler: gcc 2.95.4 OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Debian Unstable - Linux 2.4.8 What I would like to see in the KDE pager is the possibility to move Windows around on the pager itself like in the GNOME pager. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)
In KDE CVS >> 20031206, this feature has been been implemeted in kpager v1.6 Wishlist bug may be closed.
Nevermind, I thought it was kpager and not minipagerapplet. Sorry Bug still stands.
looks like Bug 58677: kicker integration of kpager is just what you want
http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=13771 should be worth a look.
http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=7120 is what will close the report.

The feature is still missing at CVS HEAD 25022005. Enabled preview in the applet, tried to drag -> nothing happens. It's unintuitive behaviour and it is more troublesome (a few clicks + reorientation of focus) to open the larger pager or to use the other ways! Bump?
hm. do you want to move windows in the pager, or just drag and drop them between desktops?
Seems like the most useful thing would be to just drag and drop between desktops, because you can already move windows around within the desktop, via the window borders. I'm actually using KPager2 now with most of the features disabled, and it works well... if a little sluggish.
> do you want to move windows in the pager Sure, why be more dumb than kpager? :-)
*** Bug has been marked as fixed ***.
Fine, but when a window is on every desktop then you cannot move it.
