(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kivio Version: 1.1 (using KDE 2.2.1 -1) Severity: normal Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.2 Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.9-0.5 OS/Compiler notes: When stencil objects are created then linked one can move the stencil objects around and the links will follow. However when a groud of such objects are selected (by dragging a dotted frame around them) and moved the connections between the stencils objects are lost. The links are not displaced by the same amount as the stencil objects their ends do no longer match the little crosses of the stencils objects and worst of all they do no longer follow the objects in case a single stencil object is moved. (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog)
Same lost linking problem happens when using copy/paste. Pascal
Fixed in current cvs
I'm having this problem still under FreeBSD5.4 using KDE 3.5.1 Kivio 1.4.2.
I'm still seeing this Problem in Kivio 1.4.2 (KDE 3.5.3, Debian testing). To reproduce: * create new document * make a simple drawing (perhaps a decision with two branches and an action at the ends?) * pull a rubber band around all of it to mark everything * try to drag and drop to reposition on the page The objects (boxes and thext) move as intended, but lines jump either too far to the left or upwards (but apparently not both at once - I don't understand the relationship yet). Consecutive moves make the lines jump further in the same direction by (apparently) the same distance.
