(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kwintv Version: 0.8.9 (using KDE 2.2.1 ) Severity: wishlist Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: gcc 2.95.3 OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified I would like to use my cordless wheel mouse as a remote control. Changing volume with the wheel and switching channels with the two buttons. I created a little hack so the wheel changes volume and not channels. I also changed the mouse buttons so you can't use the right mouse button for the popup. (Maybe you can use a key like Ctrl-p for that). http://rolschge.freeshell.org/kwintv-fullscreen.tar.bz2 contains some files to run kwintv in fullscreen with mouse-support (works for me you have to change XF86Config.fernseher and patch kwintv). I haven't had a look at the patch yet sorry. I"ve been really really busy. If you can setup the patch so that it doesn't change the current behaviour unless a checkbox is selected in the configuration dialog then I'll apply the patch for the next release. Thanks for your work so far. -- George Staikos

Sorry but I have no Idea how to do that. I can't even speak c++. But I will try. Bye > > Thanks for your work so far. -- jesus loves you
Sorry folks, we're only fixing bugs in the rewrite, which is unfortunately coming along very slowly. The old code is very buggy and dangerous to change without breaking many many things.
