If you use Open With > plasma media center from a file manager (like dolphin) or pass a file as parameter to plasma-mediacenter, you can hear the audio/video playing but you will see playlist instead of player. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. use Open With > plasma media center from a file manager (or pass a file as parameter to plasma-mediacenter) Actual Results: Audio starts playing but player is hidden Expected Results: Player should be visible with both audio and video playing This sounds like a recent regression
