When PMC instance is launched and playlist icon is clicked and user return back without playing any song from playlist. Now, if user clicks on next button from controller, then mediaplayer starts playing next song from current playlist i.e 2nd song. Ideally, clicking on next button nothing should happen because user never played anything from playlist yet. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Plasma Media Center 2. Click on playlist icon 3. Click on next button from controller Actual Results: Mediaplayer starts playing next song from current playlist. Expected Results: Nothing should happen
I just wanted to confirm if the "click the next button from controller" actually refers to the next button in the list of controls in listed in the top. If yes, I was just using the plasma mediacenter now and I have three playlists (default, misc, and custom) and while pressing the next button does indeed play the next song in the list, I find it actually does very little harm as even the stop, pause and prev buttons work accordingly and it feels as if the controls were designed for individual playlists(so I don't really mind that next button playing the next song in the list). Maybe my understanding of the issue is not clear, please do correct me wherever required :)
I think this one can be closed as resolved now.
