Currently, if a user enters a message in the text box at the top of a pump.io tab, that message is Public by default. This is not at all clear the first time a user does this. My suggestions are: 1) Make it clear in the UI that the user must click on the "Send Private Message..." button to direct a message to their Followers or another party. 2) Rather than separating the public and private message UIs (e.g. adding the extra step of choosing to send a private message when a person wishes to address only their followers), combine them into a UI available directly on the main pump.io tab. This might allow the user to enter their message and then choose to whom the message is directed using To: and CC: buttons. Reproducible: Always
I'm not a good designer, then I don't get how to merge those buttons in the main Choqok UI. An UI draft would be nice.
