(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kdevelop Version: 2.0.1 (using KDE 2.2.1 ) Severity: normal Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010219 (prerelease) OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: SuSE I'm not sure what to call all these parts of the screen but let's give it a try: Normally on the left of the screen there are those tabs with "Classes" "Groups" etc. (I believe those are called 'tree tool views'.) At the bottom and to the right there are tabs with "messages" "stdout" etc. ('output tool views'). It's possible to drag for example the "messages" tab to the tree view area (so that the "messages" is located in the left side panel). As soon as the "messages" tab gets added to the left panel the icons on the existing tabs (i.e. "Classes" "Groups" etc) disappear and can only be restored by dragging the "messages" tab back to its original location and restarting KDevelop. Unable to reproduce in Gideon (3.0).
