Description Weng Xuetian 2013-10-18 17:43:40 UTC
After some using battery sometime, sometimes when I replug the AC power, the brightness is being reset to the configuration in "battery" profile instead of AC power profile.

Dell XPS 13
KDE 4.11.2
Kernel 3.11.2

Reproducible: Sometimes
Comment 1 Weng Xuetian 2013-10-22 19:00:29 UTC
Ok, I seems to find the way to reproduce this bug:

The problem is with auto dim. If we are in auto dim, plugin the AC will not be able to reset to the new profile brightness.

Git commit 2a7af777d448e1a2e0bcb75a29195a23a897f8db by Weng Xuetian.
Committed on 29/10/2013 at 16:58.
Pushed by xuetianweng into branch 'KDE/4.11'.

Fix brightness not being correctly reset on AC plugged-in

immediately trigger the simulated user activity by hand, otherwise it
will only be called later in mainloop after load the new profile.
