Description seany 2013-09-11 16:18:22 UTC
I would like to use marble wallapaer in one of my Virtual Desktops.

I have four VD-s, Two are Gitter-Arbeitsfläche (grid desktop), one is running the weather wallpaper and the other one is the marble wallpaper. (this configuration actually does nto matter, i tryied some other combiantions as well, all have this error). now, In the final VD (which is actually the second one in my sequence of VD-s), i select "Einstellungen für Standard-Arbeitsfläche" > Hintergrundbild > Globus > Kartendesign > Mond (or Klimazonen) , but it does not change to the selected one, it always retains, in the preview and in actual display, the Satelitenansicht. (No other maps work, all maps installed in marble).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set the desktop background to Globus
2. Select any other option than Satellitenansicht

Actual Results:
Retains Satellitenansicht, regardless of selection, and confirmation of selection

Expected Results:
Show the selected map

running 12.2 and there appears to still be a bug

If projection = globe then map is always satellite but select any other projection and it appears to work correctly

Confirmed it works in kde-4.12.2 Got it running in my Gentoo environment using layman, and it works. I can finally use nightview on marble
