Description Thomas Michalka 2013-07-29 12:06:21 UTC
Dolphin only (with Konqueror creating an new tab with [Ctrl][T] & addressing audiocd:/?device=/dev/sr0):
Right click on Audio CD in sidebar; clicking on [''Audio CD'' in neuem Unterfenster öffnen] (likely called in English: Open Audio CD in new tab) --> new tab opens -- so far OK, but now the Problems:

Dolphin only:
Address line with triple listing of same folder instead of displaying once:
- address line shows: > audiocd: > audiocd > audiocd > audiocd
- on choosing folder ''MP3'' address line shows: > audoicd: > MP3 > MP3 > MP3
All the same with the other folders.

Dolphin & Konqueror:
Copying an MP3 file to a local directory by drag and drop produces error message:
''Stück 01.mp3 kann nicht gelesen werden: Die Kodierung ist fehlgeschlagen
lame: unrecognized option --hipass''

Dolphin only:
Changing one directory up [^] the address line shows: audiocd: > MP3
And Im really there (seeing the same MP3 files) not in the root of the audio CD as expected.

Changing again one directory up the address line shows: audiocd:
And now I'm in the CD's root directory.

Changing one directory down to Ogg Vorbis the address line shows: audiocd: > Ogg vorbis

Dolphin & Konqueror:
Drag and drop of an Ogg Vorbis file; the message of the copying process shows extremely slow progress (about 200 B/s) and is as slow as shown; the file of size 9.3 MByte is shown too small as of size 44KiB;

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
See details.
Actual Results:
Files can't be copied from an audio cd to a directory, neither with Dolphin nor with Konqueror.

Expected Results:
Dolphin and Konqueror should both be able to copy files from an audio cd to another destination.
This should work (not with 200 Bytes/sec!) fast and lead to files of a correct size on the destination.

Even at the first start of KDE4 without a configuration direktory .kde4 a window appears ''KDE-Dienst wurde unerwartet beendet'' (is that the kded? I ask because some other things don't work too). This window appears at every beginning of a KDE-Session and always two times where the first one disappears without any button pressed.

For some reason I unfortunately can't remember now I can't send traces with the built in trace function.

Forgot to mention that all's fine with copying from a data cd/dvd to any destination, even there's no mess with the address line. It shows for a normally mounted openSUSE DVD the address: /var/run/media/thomas/openSUSE-12.3-DVD-i5860110/
