When using XRender and setting the Scale method to "Crisp", the Zoom effect still does a smooth scaling. I often actually like to "see pixels" (that's why I zoom in). This works in OpenGL mode. Maybe it would be possible to not use the global scale method, but allow configuring "Smooth vs. Crisp" for the Zoom effect separately.
Nothing does.
