When installing Skrooge, it installs its designer plugin files with .so versions, e.g.

-- Installing: /local/kde4/lib/kde4/plugins/designer/libskgbasegui.so.1.8.0
-- Installing: /local/kde4/lib/kde4/plugins/designer/libskgbasegui.so.1
-- Installing: /local/kde4/lib/kde4/plugins/designer/libskgbasegui.so

Qt plugins are unversioned libraries, and only the last should be installed as the plugin file.
