Sorry I can't see an attachment here.

Does it also crash with a new uses without any configuration present of only 
when upgrading?

Actually I did ask if it also crashes if you create a new user and try 
without any old kde configuration present.

Well that really does say nothing.
Anyway I'm quite sure that there is a problem with your installation. Did 
you really upgrade all required rpms?
