Description T.C. Hollingsworth 2013-04-23 23:16:43 UTC
I often start a new file by just running `kate new-filename` from a terminal. Today, I noticed that there's a large ugly blank space under the new notification that warns you that the file could not be read.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Invoke kate with a file that doesn't exist.
Actual Results:
A large blank space appears under the notification.

Expected Results:
The document appears directly underneath the notification.

I noticed this with the Kate from KDE 4.10.2.
