Description m4yer+zeug 2013-03-11 13:17:16 UTC
after closing the last chat in plasmoid its size decreases and does not increase again with a new incoming chat (see screenshot)

after restarting plasma/kde the plasmoid has its normal behaviour again (untill the last chat is closed)

Screenshots:
before closing the last chat and how it should look like:

new incoming after closing last chat:
http://share.minad.de/ckS1.png

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Chat with someone in plasmoid
2. Close Chat
3. Wait for new incoming chat
Actual Results:
plasmoid is at unusable small size (see screenshot).

Expected Results:
avatar of the new chat partner should be fully visible

It seems to change depending on whether plasmoids are locked or not.
For me, everything is certainly now working fine.

Or possibly it's changed in plasma.
M4yer, can you confirm you are on KDE 4.10? and still get this?

If it still misbehaves please run qdbus org.kde.plasma-desktop /App local.PlasmaApp.supportInformation and paste the output.
Comment 4 m4yer+zeug 2013-07-12 20:33:38 UTC
yeah, this happens also in kde 4.10 (and 4.11 beta2)
here's the output:

I can confirm this in KDE 4.11.60 (using the KDE master snapshots from openSuSE) with ktp 0.6.80.
Comment 6 Martin Klapetek 2015-07-31 16:19:28 UTC
The applet was rewritten for Plasma 5.

Please reopen if it still happens with Plasma 5.
