Description Rohan Garg 2013-01-30 10:01:28 UTC
When using the new screenlocker KCM and choosing the screenlocker type, the monitor state in the KCM is not reset

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open the screenlocker kcm, Monitor is in the 'off' state by default
2. Choose the screenlocker type as "Screen Saver", monitor turns "on" ( becomes blue )
3. Choose simple locker again, screen remains blue
Actual Results:
The screen remains blue

Expected Results:
The screen becomes black

The screen locker architecture changed with Plasma 5. The classic screen savers are no longer supported. The 4.x series won't see any further feature development, so this bug report won't be implemented as it doesn't apply to our current version any more.

I want to thank you for your bug report and for helping improving the quality of our software and I'm sorry that we were not able to provide a fix before we retired the affected component.
