Description G Neeraj 2001-08-19 17:38:48 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 2.2.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Linux-Mandrake 8.0 (Traktopel) - Unsupported
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Linux-Mandrake 8.0 2.96-0.48mdk)
OS: Linux (i586) release 2.4.3-20mdk
OS/Compiler notes:

i tried to open a console based c/c++ project - kdevprj; everyting seems to load until the file "cpp_template" which is the generic template for all .cpp files. at this time it gets SIGSEGV and crashes. i am unable to load the project at all. the bug seems to be SEVERE.

thanks
neeraj

I would like to say that I see the same crash on BSD 4.4 using kdevelop 2.0.

Also this bug has been cripling your product for 47 days; this makes the
product useless for a lot of people!
