(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 2.2.0 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Debian Package 4:2.2.0-final-1 (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20010721 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.7
OS/Compiler notes:

After creating a new kickerapplet project with kdevelop and building this the run command fails.
Kdevelop wants to execute ./[appletname]

As a kickerapplet is a library this won't work.
A messagebox should open that informs the user how to "run" the applet

This has been fixed, as far as I can tell. KDevelop only executes targets that create binaries, not libraries.
