Description illumilore 2012-10-02 01:03:13 UTC
When attempting to move a file between two folders over smb, I get an error that says Could not rename file smb://ill@192.168.0.10/home/ill/filename.mkv. The file that it is saying that it can't rename is the source file, and the destination folder is empty, so there should be no reason to try to rename anything.

Thanks for the bug report! I don't have access to any Samba shares, so I can't test, or even confirm this. In any case, it looks like a KIO/smb kioslave problem.

Just to be sure: did I understand correctly that both folders (source and destination) are accessed via smb?
