(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Hello folks. You are doing a great job however somehow you missed that there are 3800 baud modems. Would be great if you add this speed to the selection in the kppp options. Thanks -Sebastian PS: I am using kde-2.2.
Sorry for the late reply. Do you mean 33800 baud (subject line) or 3800 (body of e-mail) ? Note that the kppp option sets the speed of the serial port not the modem. Earlier can (rather should) be set higher then the modem speed due to compression. I couldn't find any 33800 or 3800 baud rate for the *port* in my /usr/include/asm/termbits.h file. Does yours contain such an entry ? How does it look like ? Harri.
Never received an answer. Probably invalid request.
Created attachment 26124 [details] add 1200 and 4800 baud rates According to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdenetwork/+bug/77254 KPPP is also missing 1200 and 4800 speeds. I'm attaching a patch from that bug against KDE 3.5.9 that adds these speeds.
